Competition Theme

The theme of this year's competition was "Structural Design and Fabrication of a Lele Cart Model". Inspired by the traditional Lele cart from the northern grasslands of China, participating teams were required to design and fabricate a model cart that could complete a cargo transportation task on a complex track — including slopes, curves, speed bumps, and single-span bridges — under the traction of a powered mini-car. The model material was limited to bamboo (bamboo strips and rods), and the cargo consisted of glass-bead-filled fabric bags (500g each). Teams had to independently choose the number of bags (20–40), balancing transportation time, task completion rate, and cost efficiency, presenting a comprehensive challenge to the model's dynamic load-bearing capacity, stability, and material economy.

The project "就是209号" by "凡事不要太绝队" featured a truss-frame chassis weighing only 121.4g. Through lightweight design while maintaining load-bearing capacity, the model performed excellently in the loading test and ultimately won the First Prize.
