In the summer of 2026, three members of the group completed their studies. Congratulations to Haoyong Ye, Ziqi Guo, and Haoqin Zhang, and thank you for the effort and dedication you contributed during your time with the group.

Graduates:

  • Haoyong Ye (Master's)

    • Thesis: Study on the Mesoscopic Mechanism of Gravel-Pack Sand Control Based on CFD-DEM

  • Ziqi Guo (Master's, co-advised)

    • Thesis: Research on the Dynamic Characteristics and an Elastoplastic Constitutive Model of Marine-Continental Transitional Soft Clay in the Pearl River Delta under Cyclic Loading

  • Haoqin Zhang (Undergraduate)

    • Thesis: Study on the Mechanical Characteristics of Flow Around a Flexible Fiber under Different Fixed-Position Constraints
    • Supervision: Jointly supervised with Prof. Yu Guo (School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Zhejiang University); the work was carried out as part of Prof. Guo's research project
    • Honor: SYSU 2026 Outstanding Undergraduate Thesis (university level)
    • Next step: Recommended for graduate study at the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Zhejiang University
